Miller Caton, Jr., NBC-HWC is the founder of Caton Wellness and the creator of Your Clearest Path™.
Over a decade, Miller navigated a sustained chapter of adversity that included surviving an armed robbery and living through a period of homelessness. That chapter forced a question most people never have to answer directly: what actually holds when everything is against you?
What he found was a natural ability to reframe. To find the thread and follow it forward. That quality kept him moving.
But it also masked something. Resilience carried him through. It also made it harder to see his own edges. You can reframe your way past signals that deserve real attention. He learned firsthand that surviving pressure and understanding it are two different things.
That distinction became the foundation of everything that followed.
At Apple, across nearly six years, Miller taught people how to navigate the workplace. He was not observing from a distance. He was living it alongside colleagues, supporting peers in real time, learning what it actually costs people to show up fully every day. He was what he would later call a life teacher: someone who could meet people where they were and help them build something more sustainable.
At Equinox, he trained C-suite executives and diplomats as a Personal Trainer. Not in boardrooms. In the gym. He heard real conversations. Understood real stress. Got a window into executive pressure that most coaches never access.
Across well over a decade of work, the same pattern surfaced everywhere. Strong leaders struggling under sustained pressure. Not from lack of strategy or effort. The system around them could not support how they were operating.
Performance does not break from lack of effort. It breaks when capacity is misaligned with demand.
When the methodology started taking shape, Miller made a decision. If he was going to do this work, he was going to do it at the highest standard the field had established.
NBC-HWC, National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, is the highest board certification in health and wellness coaching. The exam is developed through the same national testing standards used across healthcare professions, with required practice hours and ongoing continuing education. It is a professional standard, not a course certificate.
Additional training in Precision Nutrition (PN2-MHC, Master Health Coach) and Narrative Coaching brought the behavioral science and the story work. Together, they form the methodology behind every session, every workshop, and every partnership Caton Wellness delivers.
YCP™ is the product of everything above. The adversity. The resilience. The near-miss with burnout. The years living and working alongside leaders under pressure. The rigorous training.
Five steps. Six domains. One through-line. Built from the inside out, for leaders and organizations operating in exactly the conditions it was designed to address.
Caton Wellness works with a small number of clients each year, by design. Individual coaching. Team workshops. Organizational partnerships. All powered by YCP™. All built around one idea: that the gap between how leaders are performing and how they are actually doing is one of the most important problems an organization can choose to address.
Assessment-first, YCP-powered engagements of 6, 9, or 12 months. Client-centered throughout.
From 60-minute sessions to multi-day series. Every format powered by the YCP™ framework.
A 12 to 18 month organizational engagement that rebuilds the conditions for performance from the inside out.
The warmth of someone who has lived what he teaches. The precision of someone trained to the highest standard. The clarity of someone who learned through experience, not just study, what it actually takes to rebuild from the inside out. That is the invitation.
